Kimberly Dolls were popular in the 1980’s. They represented a typically beautiful, modern American teenager.　 She was sold in either a closed mouth smile version or an open mouth smile.　 Both versions are popular with collectors.　 She was sold along with separate outfits.　 Though she had some pretty gowns and dresses, most of her outfits were very sporty, depicting the active lifestyle of today’s girls. Martha Pullen also loved this doll and styled some special patterns just for her. 　 Because Kimberly is strung, her limbs and head can be posed in various positions and she can stand readily on her own.　 This Kimberly is not tightly strung, but she does hold a pose. She is 17 inches tall and has thick, gorgeous blonde hair that is fun to style.　 She was released as a blonde, and a lighter platinum blonde and also as an African – American. This Kimberly is in very good vintage played with condition and wears her original soccer outfit. We did notice a tiny rub on her left check about the size of a bb.
