Ashton Drake Gene Bird of Paradise

$49.99

This is the gorgeous 15.5 inch Gene Marshall doll “Bird of Paradise” from Mel Odom’s 1997 collection. She is wearing the ultimate showgirl’s ensemble, (1949 era) featuring elaborate crystal bead work over a flesh-toned net bodysuit. Multiple swags of beads, from the hips, are eye catching, as her bracelet actually hooks to the outfit and creates a beautiful “cascade” of beads which are highlighted with accents of gathered pale pink tulle. Her feathered turban is done up with lavender iridescent fabric, which is festooned with crystal drops. She wears matching spangled hosiery and shoes. This doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. She does NOT have her COA, and comes to you in her original outfit, with her wrist tag and stand, in her original box, inside of her original shipper box, which will be used to ship the doll to you. She is in beautiful condition, having been displayed in a glass covered showcase briefly.
