In the fascinating world of extraordinary Collectible Dolls, few companies offered more than Zapf Creation. They were known for excellent quality craftsmanship, internationally acclaimed doll artists, lifelike European Design, and exceptional hand-made costuming. The very sad news for collectors came in 2003 when Zapf announced that it was closing it’s German factory and no longer producing collectible dolls. The 2003 dolls were the very last collection from this wonderful company.
