Madame Alexander

The Alexander Doll Company was founded in 1923 by Beatrice Alexander Behman and her sisters, Rose Alexander Schrecking, Florence Alexander Rapport, and Jean Alexander Disick, thus the name. The company is still in business today, although it has changed ownership twice. The parents of the Alexander sisters owned the first doll hospital in the United States. The girls grew up with an appreciation for fine dolls, and a respect of how to take care of them. The first Alexander dolls were made with cloth faces which were soon replaced with molded faces. Madame Alexander used the finest materials available and took great pride in the way their dolls were dressed and presented. We are very proud to be authorized Madame Alexander retailers.

Since we have so many Madame Alexander dolls for sale, we have divided them into sub-categories, with each one having a heading, to make it easier for you to find what your are looking for. The categories are in order as follows.
